The Huxton Creepers were one of Australia’s most popular and hardest working guitar bands of the 1980s and they were loved around the land. They first emerged as a sort of teenaged version of both\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eSunnyboys\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003eand\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eHoodoo Gurus\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003ewith a bit of ‘80s Saints thrown in for good measure—big guitars and big hooks were the order of the day— and the Sunnys and the Gurus at least took the fledgling Creepers under their wings from the get-go.
