Seedy Jeezus announce new album Hell Yeah! — their rawest and most feral release yet.

Created to mark the band’s fifth European tour, Hell Yeah! strips away the cosmic drift of recent releases and dives headfirst into loud, primitive, heavy psychedelic garage rock. Featuring brand new originals “Riff Song,” “Warwhores,” and the volcanic title track “Hell Yeah!,” the album channels the spirit of MC5, Comets on Fire, High Rise, White Heaven, and Flower Travellin’ Band.

The record also pays tribute to underground rock history with crushing takes on Cactus’ “Evil,” Chris Knox’s “Pull Down the Shades,” and Human Instinct classics “Stoned Guitar” and “Midnight Sun” — the latter featuring vocals from Human Instinct frontman Maurice Greer himself.

Hell Yeah! isn’t polished or restrained. It’s a high-volume celebration of riffs, fuzz, chaos, and the transcendent power of turning the amps all the way up.
